At Axiz we buy locally-made goods and use locally-provided services wherever quality, quantity and consistency permits.  Where the quality and consistency require improvement, we actively work with others to meet world standards.  Most components are imported in bulk, excluding individual packaging in order to support the local packaging industry.

We constantly take a critical look at all products and components imported by Axiz with the view to investing in and building capacity to manufacture these products locally.  For instance, in 1996, Axiz set up its own memory manufacturing facility to produce computer memory components in South Africa.  It is our intention to continue expanding the number of products manufactured in South Africa.

Axiz Ledibogo Partner Programme

To support SME development and contribute to the economic empowerment of marginalised communities, the Axiz Ledibogo Partner Programme teaches people how to effectively run a business in the IT sector and represents Axiz’s aim to address the economic divide between advantaged and disadvantaged communities, through deployment of technology and education.

The Ledibogo Programme provides business and skills training, as well as product workshops and business forums.  These companies also have access to preferential payment terms and marketing support.  The programme has successfully enabled SME Reseller Partner companies to significantly develop and grow their business.
